A Delicate Balance offers a complete range of contemporary and traditional catering services to private and corporate clients. We provide food, staff, equipment, and manage an extensive network of the finest wine merchants, florists, entertainers, and designers.
Anne Ferril founded A Delicate Balance with the conviction that delicious food, carefully prepared and artfully presented, is the hallmark of modern hospitality. She developed her culinary skills at the Cordon Bleu and honed them at such landmark New York restaurants as the Summerhouse, the Quilted Giraffe, Greene Street Café, and Café New Amsterdam, and while working with caterer Donald Bruce White. Anne refined her presentation style as executive chef for Pentagram Design-New York, and during stints at various Wall Street firms, at Tristar Pictures, B.M.G. Music, and as the caterer for the Duke Semans House, a party space at 82d Street and Fifth Avenue. Catering to businesses and private homes, A Delicate Balance has become adept at meeting the most particular individual standards for freshness, originality, beauty, and technical expertise.
